The district has decided to extend an extra credit opportunity! It is completely OPTIONAL, but available to all those interested in a 3-5 point grade boost.
Its 4 Lessons, if you completes 2 lessons you will earn 3 points, 3 lessons gets you 4 points, and attempting all 4 lessons can get you all 5 points! The activity can be submitted on a Word document emailed back to me ([email protected]) or take pictures of your paper and email them to me. Extra Credit Activity Important information about the Extra Credit opportunity: 1) SCS is offering an extra credit opportunity that impacts quarter 3 numeric grades. 2) This extra credit opportunity is optional for all students. If you chose to not participate your grade will not be lowered. 3) Students can earn a minimum of 3 points and a maximum of 5 extra credit points towards their quarter 3 final grade. 4) Students will turn in assignments between May 4th-May11th. No work will be accepted after 11:59PM on May 11th. 5) Students will turn in their activity by emailing it to [email protected], Please put your name and your class period in the subject box.

One of the big developments of the post industrial world is the ever increasing globalization. The world becomes more and more connected and interdependent on other areas. For example, this is why factories shutting down in China impacted us here is the USA. Due to globalization we are impacted by what happens around the globe more than ever in history. Hi everyone, First and foremost, I hope everyone is staying safe, washing hands and doing well. This is definitely an unprecedented time in history, we can get through this together. Each week, I will try to post a few assignment options on Mondays until the end of May. These assignments are not mandatory and no grades will be collected. However, if you would like to email me your answers, I would be happy to check over them with you. As 10th graders, I would use this time to really dig deeper into ACT practice, testing days are coming quick!
